The objects of the centres are to promote understanding of the subject matter from different perspectives such as legal, social, economic etc. as well as to provide path for students for freely express their views on challenges to the subjects. It provides a platform to the students to carry out dedicated research in various areas of subjects.

To achieve the Centre’s objectives, the centre will organize events like Research, discussions, Annual Conference, etc. An important vision behind the Centre’s formation was to provide a forum for the discussion of different issues and other developments in the field of Intellectual Property Rights. The Centre is headed by the faculty members and assisted by student members under the guidance of mentor advocates.

Centre’s Vision

  • To provide avenue for students to freely express their views on challenges to the subjects.
  • To provide a platform to the students to refine their research skills on the various issues pertaining to the subjects.

Role of The Mentor

  • To be a guiding force as an expert for the subject matter.
  • Guiding in conducting seminars/ workshops or any such activities under the centre.
  • Providing guidance for the practical & procedural aspects of the subject to the students and taking guest sessions.
